Banking and finance
Encrypted team communication that still keeps the record your regulator expects
Relationship managers, branches and operations teams need to move fast without client data leaking into personal WhatsApp groups. QuiC gives them end-to-end encrypted chat and calls, and gives compliance an organisation-held copy of messages.
The problem
Work on personal apps
Client details and approvals end up in personal messaging groups that the bank cannot supervise, retain or take back when someone leaves.
Record-keeping obligations
Regulated firms are expected to retain and produce business communications. Consumer apps give the organisation no copy.
Leavers keep the history
When an employee moves to a competitor, the chats stay on their phone.
How QuiC helps
Organisation-controlled key (Enterprise)
New messages in chats that include your members are also encrypted to a key your organisation holds in its own key-management service. Your compliance officers can export them; QuiC cannot read them.
Offboarding in one step
Deactivate a user and they lose access on every device. Device management and an organisation-wide session kill switch are in the admin console.
Audit log and retention
Audit-log export and retention controls on Business and Enterprise, and SCIM provisioning from your identity provider.
Meetings with a choice
Run end-to-end encrypted meetings for sensitive discussions, or "Recording & AI notes" meetings when you need a recording and minutes.
Security and compliance
Exactly what is protected
The Privacy Policy sets out what encryption covers and what it doesn’t.
- Messages and attachments are end-to-end encrypted with the Signal Protocol; QuiC’s servers store and relay only ciphertext.
- One-to-one and group voice and video calls are end-to-end encrypted on current apps.
- Enterprise: an organisation-controlled key lets your organisation (not QuiC) decrypt, keep and export its members’ messages for regulatory record-keeping. Those chats show a banner instead of "end-to-end encrypted", and members are told at least 7 days before capture starts.
- Each meeting is either end-to-end encrypted, or set up for "Recording & AI notes". Recording meetings are encrypted in transit and at rest but not end-to-end; admins choose the default or require end-to-end encryption.
- QuiC runs on Google Cloud in the Singapore region today. Talk to us if you have data-location requirements.
- AeonX Digital, which builds and runs QuiC, is certified to ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001:2015. SOC 2 Type II is in progress.
