Keep patient conversations off personal phones and inside an encrypted, managed app

Doctors, nurses and administrators coordinate all day on their phones. QuiC gives them a fast, end-to-end encrypted place to do it, which the hospital can manage.

The problem

  • Patient details in consumer apps

Reports, images and handovers are shared in personal groups the hospital cannot control.

  • Shifts and turnover

Staff rotate and leave; their access to clinical conversations should end the same day.

  • Lost or shared devices

A phone left on a ward should not expose conversations.

How QuiC helps

  • Encrypted by default

Messages, attachments and one-to-one and group calls are end-to-end encrypted, so QuiC’s servers cannot read or see them.

  • Admin control

Roles, device management, a screenshot policy for the mobile app and an organisation-wide session kill switch.

  • Calls and meetings

Quick voice and video calls between departments, and scheduled meetings with a lobby and host controls.

  • Retention and audit

Retention controls and audit-log export on Business and Enterprise.

Security and compliance

Exactly what is protected

The Privacy Policy sets out what encryption covers and what it doesn’t.

  • Messages and attachments are end-to-end encrypted with the Signal Protocol; QuiC’s servers store and relay only ciphertext.
  • One-to-one and group voice and video calls are end-to-end encrypted on current apps.
  • Each meeting is either end-to-end encrypted, or set up for "Recording & AI notes". Recording meetings are encrypted in transit and at rest but not end-to-end; admins choose the default or require end-to-end encryption.
  • Enterprise: an organisation-controlled key lets your organisation (not QuiC) decrypt, keep and export its members’ messages for regulatory record-keeping. Those chats show a banner instead of "end-to-end encrypted", and members are told at least 7 days before capture starts.
  • QuiC runs on Google Cloud in the Singapore region today. Talk to us if you have data-location requirements.
  • AeonX Digital, which builds and runs QuiC, is certified to ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001:2015. SOC 2 Type II is in progress.
